Our January 2022 theme was inspired by Federico Fellini’s famous quote, “You exist only in what you do”. Fellini’s films contain an abundance of humour, pathos, compassion and style.
Looking back
“Humour, pathos, compassion and style”, are words with meaning; echoing FAB’s 2022.
Notwithstanding, foreseen and unforeseen circumstances, due to social and economic factors, you (our clients, delegates, coachees, and candidates), showed up navigating the daily challenges.
The year was filled with experiences. Stakes were high, the going was tough; and against all odds, passion prevailed. We observed that passion enables resilience when encountering obstacles.
Passion was matched with integrity, you being integrious, your values being congruent with, and evident in your words and actions. Mistakes were made and lessons were learnt. Humble pie was served, apologies were offered and accepted. There were tears and humour emerged. Laughing together triggers healthy physical and emotional changes in the body.
We experienced how humour lightens burdens, inspires hope, connects; and keeps us grounded, focused and alert. Regardless of whether the moment was appropriate, awkward or inappropriate, style was present.
Taking A Moment
It is no surprise that energy levels are low and emotions are high! Nevertheless, we hold an appreciation for 2022 in its fullness, and for this we thank YOU – our delegates, clients, candidates and coachees.
